Jork Weismann is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning photographer. His images reveal an intense cinematic style that connects fashion, portraiture and contemporary art.

Weismann regularly contributes to the most influential fashion publications in the world, including Harper’s Bazaar, Interview, Achtung Magazine, Purple, Self Service, Dazed & Confused, Vogue, Playboy US, Under the Influence, Monocle, FAZ-Magazin, Süddeutsche Magazin, Zeit Magazin, Condé Nast Traveller, Marie Claire, GQ, Io Donna, New York Times Magazine or Vanity Fair.

His photo images have been used in advertising campaigns for clients such as Mercedes, TheStandard Hotels, Kostas Murkudis, Palmers, Opus, Bogner, Red Bull, Lotus, Bank Austria, Vöslauer, Marco Polo, Erste Bank, Raiffeisen, Generali or Viennale resulting in memorable campaigns.

His intense portraits of leading cultural figures including Annie Leibowitz, Ed Ruscha, Patti Smith, Georg Baselitz, Ulrich Seidl, Lang Lang, Clemens Schick, Eva Longoria, Tatiana Patitz, Louis Figo, Matt Dillon, Udo Kier or Rupert Everett have appeared in numerous international publications.

In 2012 he released his first book „Asleep at the Chateau“ published by Damiani, with a preface by Bret Easton Ellis, paying homage to the legendary Hollywood-Hotel Chateau Marmont. Here, Weismann portrays a range of celebrities asleep – among them Patti Smith, Orlando Bloom, Jürgen Teller, Eva Longoria, Usher, Justin Theroux and many more.
